Mr. and Mrs. Bourqui | The Maples | Woodland Wedding Photographer

Happy Saturday (again)! Blogging two weeks in a row, you guys… this is pretty amazing. Very proud of myself right now. But, let’s move on to more important subject matter. Like how last Friday I got to photograph Emily and Corey tying the knot at the gorgeous Woodland venue - The Maples. The entire day was perfection and every little detail came together so beautifully. I felt so honored to capture it all and I have been loving thumbing through all the images while I edit away. Also, these two need to be the poster couple for Tinder because yes, they met on Tinder.

Emily and Corey, thank you so much for including me in your best day ever. It truly was so breathtaking and I loved every minute. Your thoughtfulness to not only the details of your day but to all of your guests AND wedding vendor team was truly inspiring. I can’t wait for more sessions in the future!

xoxo, Nicole

Happy Saturday, everyone! And a very special happy two week wedding anniversary to these two lovebirds! It was so fun to photograph Alyssa & Emanuel’s best day ever and celebrate alongside them. The whole day was filled with so much love and thoughtfulness. Alyssa made her own flower crown (you go, girl… teach me your ways!) and dried flower petals from their garden for months to have enough for their guests to throw like confetti as they walked down the aisle. The venue was breathtakingly gorgeous (where I am super excited to announce I am now on the preferred vendor list so hopefully I’ll be seeing this venue + their sweet owners a whole lot more) nestled in the valley of Martinez on hundreds of acres. A lot of happy tears were shed and it was just pure magic.

Alyssa and E-man (Emanuel, sorry… old habits die hard), thank you, thank you, thank you. What an honor and privilege it’s been to watch your love story unfold. It’s so sweet that I got to sit in your chair in your hair salon, Alyssa, and hear your dreams for your wedding day and then photograph you two during this season of your lives. I can’t wait to see where life takes the two of you and I wish you all the dang best!

xoxo

Hey friends, happy Friday!

I am super excited to share some highlights from Adenna & Tyler’s San Francisco City Hall wedding last week! It was such an intimate and special wedding, including their siblings and parents - everyone that matters most to them. It was so sweet to get to document the entire process from signing in to signing their marriage license. I especially loved all the gorgeous natural light in City Hall and then walking around the city afterwards to grab some photos.

Adenna & Tyler, thanks so much for trusting me and including me in your best day ever! I wish you guys a lifetime of happiness!

xoxo

Happy Friday!

I am thrilled to share some highlights from Erica & Eric’s big day last Saturday. It was a joy to capture their best day ever and it was pretty sweet to get behind the lens for my first wedding back post-baby birthing! These two had 100 of their closest friends & family gather around them as they said their ‘I do’s’ and officially became one. One of the most special moments for all of us to witness was surely their first kiss - they waited so patiently to share that moment together on their wedding day. Their venue was so intimate and gorgeous — right on the river, people cheered them on from their innertubes!

I hope you all can feel the genuine happiness radiating from these images as much as I can — congratulations to you, Mr and Mrs. Hopkins, the best is yet to come!

xoxo

Happy Friday, friends!

I am so thrilled to finally get back to blogging and I thought what better way to kick it off than to share one of my most recent 2019 weddings from January! I had the privilege of meeting these two cuties while I photographed Joe’s sister’s wedding in fall of 2017 (to be blogged, I have quite a bit to catch up on). I was so excited when they reached out to me at the end of 2018 to inquire about finding their own wedding photographer! We got to talking and here we are — over a year later, a stunning Santa Cruz redwoods engagement session (to be blogged!) and a dream of a wedding day.

So thrilled to blog these high school besties turned lovers on this gorgeous Friday! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do!

Joe & Nicole, thank you so much for choosing & trusting me. Thank you guys for being such sweet clients turned friends and sharing in our joy of our baby girl on the way. I am so looking forward to spending more time with you both in the future!! xoxo
